Nothing feels worse than being so pissed off that you can’t see straight, and yet nothing will make most of us laugh any harder than when we witness someone who is just straight up pissed. I thinks it’s because every gets how it feels to be brought to the point where frustration meets anger. It’s that point where all logic leaves your body. The next thing you know you are on automatic pilot, openly without a planned conversation, no scripted behavior, just raw unrehearsed, unfiltered human behavior in one of it’s most truthful forms.
Everyday we subject ourselves to having to behave in a socially acceptable manner. We swallow the snarky comments. We hold back our most truthful opinions. We resist our instinct to smack the living crap out of someone who thinks you didn’t get that their clever passive aggressive behavior was completely directed at you. We repeat ourselves over and over to those who just can’t seem to do the daily responsibilities required of them day in and day out.
Then there’s that one occurrence, the proverbial straw that breaks the camel’s back. That one thing that can not be swallowed! Truth must be told without a script in all it’s unrehearsed, unfiltered, uncensored, profanity filled deliverance! In some cases the hand is released to meet the backside of some deserving fool’s head! The foot begins to shake with the desire to meet some one’s deserving backside! Some of us pace back and forth gesturing, waving our arms as we unleash the truth from our foaming sometimes spitting mouths!
Oh if only the object of your well deserving anger had worn a rain coat with a protective face shield to divert all the oncoming spit. A helmet to cushion the smack to the back of the head. Ear plugs to block out the angry profanities. Padding to guard their backsides…
We have all been the one who loses their complete mind in a fit of anger. We have all been the one who placed the last straw to break the camel’s back. We have also all been the one to have a front row seat to witness the one who loses their mind on the one who placed the last straw on the camel’s back. I think we can all agree that the front row seat has the potential for some really great laughter. 😉
